10% cases coming from generation to generation
Experts say that every year about 14 lakh cases of different types of cancer are reported in the country. 90 percent of these cases are due to habits like paan, tobacco, gutkha. On the other hand, 10 percent of the cases are such, which are being passed on from generation to generation. In the family, grandfather, grandfather, maternal grandfather, maternal grandfather or any other relative has cancer and goes to the next generation. This is called hereditary and hereditary cancer.

The people coming here will be able to know in advance that there is no hereditary risk factor for cancer.
113 genes will be tested
Experts say that hereditary cancer can be detected in a person on the basis of comprehensive genetic evaluation and testing based on 113 genes. Before such a test, the patient is advised pre-test genetic counseling and after the test, so that the patient does not face any kind of problem. Experts say that the age should be 18 years to investigate hereditary cancer syndrome. With this kind of process, the chances of future cancer can be reduced to a great extent.
